We always recommend ordering the larger size. Every Maarvi outfit has a built-in 2-inch alteration margin on all seams, so a local tailor can easily take it in for a perfectly fitted look — at minimal cost.

Use a soft measuring tape and wear fitted clothing or measure directly on skin.

Chest: Measure around the fullest part of your bust, keeping the tape parallel to the floor.
Waist: Measure around your natural waist — the narrowest part, usually an inch above your navel.
Hips: Measure around the fullest part of your hips, about 7–9 inches below your waist.
Shoulder: Measure straight across the back from one shoulder seam to the other.

All Maarvi garments are stitched with extra seam allowance — an additional 2 inches of fabric tucked into every major seam. This means any local tailor can let the garment in or out without affecting the fabric or finish. It's our way of ensuring every outfit fits you perfectly, regardless of size variation.
